The lounge bar offers a relaxed atmosphere for a meal or a drink and the perfect environment to sample our menu, ales and wine list. In winter the log burning stove helps warm chilly customers and casts a lovely light in the evenings. Families are welcome to bring children into the lounge bar whether eating or just for a drink. Children are also welcome in our large beer garden during the summer months. Sorry, but no dogs are allowed in the lounge bar.
Our traditional public bar has always offered old fashioned pub favourites pool and darts, but now boasts coverage of all major sporting events including Premier League football, Champions League, Six Nations Rugby and the Ryder Cup.
